Lifestage Care For Pets

ARTHRITIS and DEGENERATIVE DISEASES Our veterinarians offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment options for orthopedic and degenerative problems your pet may be experiencing. Our Doctors will apprise you of the many new orthopedic surgical procedures, and medications currently available to help restore your pet's mobility.
EYE CARE Using a state-of-the-art diagnostic evaluation, we are able to accurately measure your pet’s intraocular pressure with this quick, painless procedure. We use this diagnostic test any time we have a patient present with a “red eye”. We also recommend screening tests for those breeds prone to primary glaucoma.
EAR INFECTIONS   Chronic ear infections can be a sign of a deeper problem. If your pet suffers from recurrent ear infections, we'll examine your pet's ears and prescribe a treatment plan to help make your pet more comfortable. We offer ear flushing procedures, and treatment for conditions such as ear mites, ear infections and chronic ear problems.
SKIN and DERMATOLOGY PROBLEMS Dermatology and skin disorders can lead to your pet having itching problems, hair loss, skin infections, ringworm, mites, and "hot spots". If you pet is constantly scratching, or licking, we'll help you determine the cause of your pet's skin problem and help you with a treatment plan to make your pet more comfortable.
BEHAVIOR COUNSELING Often times, behavior modification techniques can help your pet to live a happier and healthier life. We offer behavioral counseling for dogs and cats concerning such issues as separation anxiety, aggression toward people or other animals, and general fearfulness. Noise phobias can also lead to behavior problems such as fear of thunder, inappropriate urination, destructive behavior like scratching furniture or tearing up household items and clothing, disobedience, biting, and many other problems that your pet may be experiencing.
WHEN IT'S TIME TO SAY "GOODBYE" Losing a pet that has been your loving companion for years, can be the most difficult situation a person can ever confront. If necessary, we will help your pet to pass without pain and with dignity. When it's time to say, "Goodbye", the doctors and staff of Brookeside Veterinary Hospital will be here for you and your pet.
